Deliveryman of the Heaven

He picked up a small stone from the ground and placed it on his palm, then asked Weiqing: "What is this?"    

Weiqing replied seriously: "A piece of stone."    

"Yes, it's a stone." The monk could not nod his head, when he opened it again, the small stone in his hand had become a statue of Buddha, Weiqing did not know how he did it, and continued: "What is this?"    

Although it was just a slight change, this piece of Buddha statue was very lifelike, with a hint of golden light on it. Weiqing thought for a moment, then replied: "This is a work of art."    

The monk asked, "Then which one is more valuable now?"    

Weiqing answered without hesitation: "Of course it's this Buddha statue, it has the value of appreciation, I'm afraid it has the support of a great master right?"

"Without the original intention, the people would have so many troubles and greed. Naturally, they wouldn't be able to see the future."    

Weiqing suddenly stood up, bowed deeply to the monk and said: "Thank you for your guidance, Master."

The monk laughed and said, "The easiest way to do good is to do good deeds. Since you can see the purest things in this world, you will naturally know what you really want. As long as Benefactor is able to maintain your initial heart, even if one day you slaughter all of the living, your merits will be boundless. "    

"Even if there is a day when I slaughter all living things, my achievements will still be immeasurable?" Weiqing muttered to himself. Now that he thought about it, this monk in front of him, who could not be high, was really a high monk. A person with great wisdom like him might be able to resolve the doubts he had regarding merits.    

The High Monk slowly replied, "Sincerity is a skill, virtue is a virtue, and virtue is a virtue."    

Weiqing could not help but nod his head, this answer was extremely insightful, and could be perfectly verified from Lee Jiachun. It was sincere to give a helping hand without asking for anything in return. Always have a grateful heart, this is kind. Lee Jiachun's actions had combined all ten levels of merits, which was natural.    

Weiqing asked again: "Then what's the use of cultivating virtue?"    

The monk that couldn't pause for a moment said, "Buddha's Day can break life and death, obtain Nirvana, and can rule over all living things. If one is tired, one can become Buddha on the spot!"    

Lee Jiachun's achievement had broken her death sentence.    

Weiqing remained silent. He was, after all, not a monk that did not ask questions about buddhas.    

The High Monk continued, "The tenth stage of the Kitigarbha Sutra is a contest for karmic luck. karmic merit is not Ford. What is Ford? Benefits, money, goods are all Ford. It was possible to share it with others. "True merit lies in good deeds, but one can only enjoy it and not give it to others!"    

Weiqing nodded his head, and asked: "Then there are different levels of contribution points that a person can obtain, right?"    

The High Monk glanced at Weiqing with approval, and nodded: "There is a long and short hand, so merits naturally has a thick and thin division. Doing good deeds, with a merciful heart, you can get third-class merits. To sacrifice oneself for the sake of others and not ask for anything in return, one could obtain middle-third grade merits. For all living things, this is the highest form of karmic virtue. "    

Weiqing counted these high, middle and third-rate merits. Adding them together, it was only a ninth grade achievement.    

"Have you ever heard of the fact that merit is limitless? This is the highest grade of merit." Saying that, he could not help but look at Weiqing, and laughed: "Old monk guess, asking about merits, you mean the female benefactor who came with you? That female benefactor has a ten inch long Light of Merit, so she must have received some sort of third-rate merit. Hehe, if it wasn't for the fact that this female benefactor was so kind, I'm afraid you wouldn't have come to those two chambers. "    

Weiqing looked at the monk in admiration, nodded and said: "I heard that my friend had gotten the tenth grade contribution points."    

"Almsgiver wants to ask me, what are the standards for a grade ten merit? Where did one get the standard for endless merit? Sincerity is a virtue, goodness is a virtue, and virtue is a virtue. If Almsgiver was doing good on purpose and was calculating in his heart what kind of merit he would be able to achieve, then this wasn't karmic virtue, but just Ford. Merit is up to fate, but not to oneself. "    

"Master's teachings are correct." Weiqing blushed a little.    

The reason why Weiqing wanted to know more about the Merit was because the Merit must have played an important role in the Heaven Realm. If he could cultivate a large amount of karmic virtue, then he would be able to gain the favor of the deities. This would greatly benefit his future cultivation. However, it seemed that cultivation karmic virtue was not a simple matter.
