I accidentally married a "CEO"

A Baby Nine Months Later

A Baby Nine Months Later

The penthouse was very spacious, and it had three separate ensuite bedrooms, a fully furnished living room, a kitchen with a dining room, and a small office. It occupied the whole level of the 20th floor of the hotel, which suited them just perfect.

One of the suites was allocated to Ronald and Lea, the other one for Eva since Ethan would be staying at his home. If Ethan found out what opportunity he just missed, he would be envious of the other couple.

Ethan wanted an opportunity to further the relationship between him and Eva, and he was hoping that during this trip, they would progress to the point of no return. However, luck was not on his side for some reason. There seemed to be an obstacle or the other creeping up and messing all his best-laid plans.

===

Ronald and Ethan arrived simultaneously, while Jeff, who had arrived significantly early had been pacing and anxiously waiting for them so they could start planning their activities.

As soon as they walked in, the men immediately got into the business, discussing and analyzing potential strategies to addressing the issue, while the women were chatting in the living room comfortably.

"So, what did you find out?" Jeff anxiously asked Ethan who had been spying on his adopted father.

"Not much really, he's the same as before when Mother was still married to him. He spends most of his time at the strip club, gambling, and whoring. That's the reason Mother divorced him, because of all those women he messed around with while they were married."

"Did you meet him at all? Where is he now?" Jeff asked impatiently, he wanted to get this thing over with as fast and clean as possible, so they can all go home.

Ethan was about to inform him about Mr. Wright's whereabouts, when...

Ronald, who was listening and heard Jeff's question, noticed something. "Boss! Excuse me, based on the surveillance camera; he's actually in the vicinity right now."

"Take a look at this, see!" Ronald turned his laptop around for Ethan and Jeff to see the footage of Mr. Wright playing poker in the VIP room.

Jeff's face lit up; he thought of something. "Who's the 'Floor-manager' right now? Call him to the office; also pick the best dealer on the floor right now. I want to speak with them; you got it?"

Ronald understood what Jeff was asking, but he was not sure how Jeff's plan to discuss with the Floor-manager and the best dealer was connected to this whole fiasco. Whatever it was, he was sure he would soon find out.

"Ethan, let me ask you something, how good are you at playing poker?" Jeff asked. "Actually not bad, not bad at all! I have the best poker face. Why do you ask? What plans do you have?" Ethan asked, curiously.

"I'm planning on beating him at poker and then corner him and use the game as a bargaining chip to negotiate with him. If this works out, we can go home as soon as tomorrow." Jeff proudly announced.

Ann, Lea, and Eva heard Jeff loud and clear, and all simultaneously looked curiously towards the men's direction now all ears.

"You hear that? Big boss has a plan, and if it works out, we can all go home early." Lea spoke to Ann and Eva losing all the excitement and looking gloomy.

"But I don't want to go back yet, and I was hoping that we could all get a makeover like last Thanksgiving, remember?" Lea asked while giving Ann Dewey eyes.

Ann had her concentration in the direction where the men were discussing a plan to take down Mr. Wright, and she wasn't paying much attention to Lea's tantrum.

Eva, on the other hand, had her full attention on Lea. She was curious about what they did last Thanksgiving day. She wanted to experience it as well if possible.

"Lea, do you have any pictures of the makeover you did?" Eva asked eyes brightly shining with anticipation.

"Sure do! Let me see..." She pulled out her cell phone and started going through the pictures to show her. "Here see..., this is when we went for dinner, and Ann had a duet with her favorite singer. Then this is when..." Lea continued with a smile on her face, totally forgetting all about her tantrum.

Eva's face was glowing, and she had an excited look on her face as she went through the pictures. Ann slowly turned back her attention to the girls and noticed Eva's reactions with interest. This gave her an idea; they could still pamper themselves and have a makeover without necessarily living the comfort of the penthouse.

"Lea, why don't you arrange for us to have a makeover here? Then we can have a nice dinner tonight all dolled up." Ann ordered Lea while looking at Eva and then Ethan with mischief in her eyes.

Lea was pretty quick to catch up on Ann's train of thought, with only one look from Ann, and she understood what she was planning.

Ann wanted Eva and Ethan to progress their relationship further, and if Ethan got lucky enough, there might be a third wedding in the process and a baby nine months later.
