I accidentally married a "CEO"

Lea and Ann arrived early at the location. Since Ann was not that popular yet, they did not request a bodyguard to accompany them to the shoot. When they entered the shopping mall, they were surprised to see many people standing by waiting to watch which celebrities will be filming.

They tried to act like ordinary shoppers, but when people saw Ann, they knew in an instant that she was one of the celebrities. Her beauty was incomparable to any other person, and when she walked, it was like she's walking on a catwalk stage, which could be detected by any passerby. Her aura was like a superstar.

"Who is she? She's so beautiful, she must be one of the celebrities!" One shopper whispered to another person.

"Let's go ask her for a picture and autograph!" The other person said.

"Are you sure? She could be another shopper, but on the other hand, we better ask now before we lose an opportunity if she is one of the celebrities." The other person insisted.

The two friends tried to act conspicuously while walking around the bystanders when "Excuse me! Can we have a picture taken with you and your autograph, please?" Finally, the duo asked Ann and Lea with a pleading smile on their face while waving their cellphones in one hand.

Ann was startled at first but regained her senses when Lea stood aside and nodded to Ann, who hesitated. She smiled sweetly at the two shoppers, "Sure! It's my pleasure." She then posed with the two, showing her beautiful pearly white teeth. She asked if they had a pen in hand and gave them her autograph happily.

The two shoppers were incredibly happy. As they were walking, they were waving in the air the signed autograph and the picture they had taken on their phones while thanking her wholeheartedly for her kindness, "She's the best, what's her name? Ann Wen? Her name is Ann Wen." One of the shoppers said.

"Ann Wen!!! We love you! We are your #1 fans!!!" The other shopper yelled.

The other bystanders waiting heard the person yelling and started running towards Ann's direction like a mob. Jeff and Ronald arrived just in time to see what was happening. They rushed to Ann and Leah and ushered them to a secluded area.

Ann was shaking and unable to breathe from running, "What was that? Why were they coming after me? That was scary!" Looking at her husband, whose concern was visible on his face but unable to reveal his affection in public. "From now on, don't you ever go to a public area without a bodyguard, you hear me?! What would you have done if I had not arrived in time?" Jeff asked with concern in his voice.

As they were having this discussion, Claudia arrived acting like the "Diva's Princess." When she saw the four in the secluded place, she wondered what was going on, 'There's something wrong with this picture here. Is she the faceless girlfriend? Hmmm, I need to find out one way or the other.'

Claudia walked to where the four were, "Well, hello, sweetie pie! What brings you here? You missed me so much that you can't stay away from me?" She said, trying to provoke Jeff and Ann in the process.

Jeff just ignored Claudia's teasing and proceeded with his overprotective behavior with Ann. "I'm alright now. I was just frightened when I saw the group of people coming in my direction, it was nothing grave. Thank you for your concern, CEO Go." Ann told Jeff, pushing his hands away from her.

"If you are sure, then I'll be on my way." Jeff was agitated at how Ann was treating him right now, but it was all his fault, and he needed to amend it. The sooner, the better otherwise, he might end up losing his wife in the process.

Claudia was steaming when she realized that Jeff ignored her just like that. They had an understanding, and it seemed he was going back on the deal. 'Let's see what you will do on the day of grandpa Go's birthday. You will regret how you've treated me. Just you watch!' Then she turned around and stormed off in the direction of the dressing room without noticing Ann and Lea.

Subsequently, they were set to start filming. The child that would be playing as Ann's daughter was a cute little girl with long black hair, a small round face, a little chubby cheek, and a sweet low voice.

When Ann met her, she instantly fell in love with the child. 'How I wished that I could have a daughter like her,' Ann thought while smiling.

"Everyone, take your rightful places now! Filming is about to commence." The Director said loudly in the mouthpiece he was holding.

Claudia, Ann, and the little girl went to their particular places, waiting for their cue:

"Action!" The Director shouted.

As soon as they heard it, Ann and the little girl began their act of shopping for the little girl's first day at school. Of course, Claudia's role was to tag along while they were shopping, nothing else.

However, Instead of acting her part, she started doing her own things, making an N.G.

"Cut!" The Director yelled.

"Claudia! What is going on? You're only supposed to tag along during the shopping. So why are you creating your own scene?" The Director asked Claudia.

"I'm sorry! I just thought it was too boring for me to look and not touch, so I improvised a little." She said, trying to be cute while at it.

Unfortunately, the Director did not buy it and glared at her, then gave her a lecture. "Don't do it again. Follow the script, okay?!" He announced that they would start again, then he went back to his chair.

"Action!..."

Cut!...!" N.G. again.

"Action!..."

"CUT!!!!" N.G. again! The Director and everyone else on the set was now getting tired of Claudia not following the script.

On the other hand, Claudia was having fun and enjoying everyone's discomfort, especially Ann's.

"This is the last chance that I'm giving you, Claudia! If you still N.G. this scene, then get out of my set! You hear me?!" The Director warned her for the last time.

They all went back to their spots and started the same process: "Action!... Cut!" Then finally, they received the words they were waiting for. "It's okay, that's a wrap." The Director ordered.

"What the hell was that all about?" Lea asked Ann as they were heading to the dressing room, "Claudia could have done it just like that from the beginning. So why did she make it hard for everyone?" She asked, surprised, and kept looking behind to where Claudia had a smirk on her face while looking at them.

"I know, right?" One of the assistants from the set that was following behind them interjected.

Ann just stayed quiet the whole time, she didn't have much to say about Claudia. If she could help it, she didn't intend to act with her in this commercial, but Claudia was able to squeeze in. So what was she to do but suffer through the ordeal?

"Hopefully, this is the only scene I have with her, I will be satisfied if I never lay eyes on her again." She said and just kept on walking.

That night back in the condo, Ann read the Drama script that Lea wanted her to star in with Jonathan. The writing was right up her alley, just like Lea said. A Musical with some acting. The story was revised to fit Asian actors, and it felt like it was designed just for her.

She was in deep thought when her phone on top of the table started buzzing, when she looked at who the caller was she saw it was Jeff,  'Hmm, It's Mr. CEO. What does he want now?' She thought before swiping the green button to answer the call, "Hello!" she said.

"Hi! What are you doing?" Jeff cheerfully asked, a smile could be heard from his voice.

"Reading a script for a drama, what about you?" Ann sounded bored to death and as if she was forced to answer the call.

"Lonely and missing you! Can I come over for a little while? Please!!!" He pleaded like aof a child, asking for a treat.

"Aren't you busy? I thought a CEO is normally busy and has no time to socialize? How come it seems you have all the time in the world? Do you ever work?" Ann replied without actually answering his request.

"You haven't answered my question. Can I come over, just for a tiny bit?" He pleaded once again, his voice now sounded pitiful.

Ann contemplated for a minute, and she looked around the condo before answering calmly. "I guess it's alright! Lea is out for the night, and it's just me by myself, so come if you want."

"Really? I'll be right over!" Jeff hung up the phone quickly without bothering to say goodbye. Ann shook her head while grinning at the way Jeff sounded so excited, then sighed.

Not a minute passed before Ann heard the door opening, and Jeff walked in still in his office suit. It seemed that he was already outside the door and had a set of keys on hand.

Ann was bewildered with his sudden appearance and her eyes were practically bulging out of their sockets out of shock, while looking at her handsome tired-looking husband.

Suddenly something fishy occurred to her, and she then realized who it was... "LEA!!!!"
