The Doctor Who Loves Me

"Darling!!! Darling!!!" Xander rushed excitedly towards Yera, who replied to him back with a glare.     

Xander immediately zipped his mouth after he saw the triplets were sleeping beside her. Yera very carefully moved from the bed and put the grills up on the sides of the bed, trying her best to not make a sound.     

She hurriedly pulled Xander out of the room and asked, "What's with shouting there like a maniac?"     

"Rui did it!" Xander burst. Yera's eyes bulged out as the couple excitedly jumped holding each other's hands.     

"Oh, God… I'm so happy for Rui!" Yera cried out because both she and Xander had witnessed how Rui suffered when Cali stopped recognizing him.     

"They are now officially in a relationship. I knew Rui could pull it through, plus my advice to him was so effective…" Xander boasted.     

Yera shook her head and asked, "So are we now traveling there to bug those two?"     

"Hell yeah. We need some vacation too, darling…" Xander muttered with a meaningful grin. Yera shook her head thinking how her husband had been asking her for a vacation repeatedly.      

"Okay. I want to personally congratulate Rui for his perseverance and I'm sure you miss him so much already, so let's just have a week's vacation in country A." Yera stated and her husband enthusiastically hugged her and then showered her face with kisses.     

"I will tell Ron to prepare our flight in two days…" Xander giddily said. Finally, he could have some private time with his dear wife.      

Ever since she gave birth, both of them got so busy taking care of the triplet that he could not even have a single night with her, since the triplets would always call out by crying for them whenever they were spending time together.     

"Alright. Let's bring the triplets…" Yera intentionally said with a serious face, looking intently at how her husband would react.     

"What?!" Xander burst.     

"Why? You don't want to bring our triplets?" Yera murmured with raised eyebrows.      

Xander scratched his head and snorted, "Of course I would love to bring the triplets as well, just that we will not have enough time again to be more intimate..."     

Yera tried her best to control her laughter, seeing the dropped shoulders of her husband with his conflicted emotions. Of course, he wished to bring the triplets with them too, but she could understand her husband's dilemma on why he would love for them to go alone this time.     

It had been a while since they last spent some quality time together that they could not even go on simple dates the past few days except for the three days vacation at their villa when the triplets had turned one.     

"Darling, it's just a prank…" Yera beamed, laughing. Xander pouted his lips and was about to grab his wife when the speaker outside cried out, "mama mama mama… dada dada…"     

"Oh, the triplets are awake," Yera murmured and rushed back inside the room.     

Xander heaved a sigh because the triplets did have peculiar timings to call them.

At Country A.     

Rui and Cali had just finished eating lunch together at the school canteen.     

"I wonder why Prof. Candice is absent today," Cali casually commented.     

"I can call her if you want to know…" Rui teased with a grin.     

"Don't you dare!" Cali grunted with pursed lips.     

"Well, her reliever said it's a personal matter. But don't you prefer the reliever instead of Candice?" Rui teased again.     

"If you don't stop, I will not sleep with you tonight!" Cali threatened, though she was not sure if it was effective.     

Rui hesitated because he was feeling torn. Half of him wanted for Cali to sleep with him on the same bed, but half of him did not want it just because it was a torment as well.     

'Should I continue teasing her?' Rui mused but chose not to since having her on his bed weighed more importance in his system.     

Rui intently stared at her and sincerely stated, "Okay, I will now stop because I want to wake up every morning seeing your face that's brighter than the sun.. That I feel so blessed having such a beautiful lady sleeping beside me. I will now zip my mouth because I want you to sleep with me every day without a miss."      

Cali's face turned rosy pink and she tried to hide it by mumbling, "Hurry up.. We still have to change our clothes for cooking…"     

Rui chuckled, enjoying the blush over his wife's face by his words. And yet he thought this day would be too impossible to come. Rui felt really grateful that Cali's heart still beat for him.     

Now he truly believed in fate because he and Cali were fated together no matter what would come through their way. He would still persevere… to fight for her.     

"Stop that…" Cali timidly whispered, noticing how Rui was staring closely at her.     

"I can't. You're so beautiful." Rui muttered with an adoring smile.

Soon, they left the canteen and separated ways since they had to go to their locker rooms to change. Cali opened up her locker and creased her forehead, seeing a black rose inside.     

"Who put this rose in here? Is this some kind of prank?" Cali mumbled with a crumpled face as she looked around.      

She checked her lock and wondered who unlocked it because it had a code and besides the room was for women only, the locker room for women.     

Cali bit her lip as she grabbed the rose and put it inside her bag. Later she would report this to the management and demand for the culprit! How dare that person open her locker! She couldn't help but be bugged and get worried by it.
