"Wrong! Not only Honey but even my own son is not close to me." mumbling, she hugged her husband. It was the bitter truth of her life! "I won't disturb you anymore. I'm sorry."
If it was some other time Suyin might have nudged Wang Shi to console his mother, but right now she had stopped caring about anyone.
"Shishi, she's your mother. If this woman can hold Honey then why can't his grandmother? For how long you have planned to punish your mother? Not like she had done everything deliberately years back." Wang Huang couldn't stand his son's coldness seeing his wife in tears. "If Honey's biological mother can use him for personal motives, this woman is no one to him. Are you sure she's not using you? I don't believe it."
"She won't. SHE WON'T. Don't devalue Suyin by comparing her to the woman who pushed my son to this condition and killed my daughter." He placed a hand around Suyin and made her sit on the bed with Honey in her arms. "What she gave Honey is priceless. Precious. Unparalleled.".... she gave him Life." he kept the last part of the sentence to him.
"Really? Enlighten us."
Wang Shi's smiled, "Love, Warmth, and care. I'm sure your men around me must have informed about the changes in Honey."
"I don't believe she can be that selfless." Liu Jeilan shook her head. Last time it was the biggest mistake of her life when she supported Honey's mother to get her married to Wang Shi.

Least Liu Jeilan knew she was supporting the wolf in a sheep's skin whose sole motive was money. It not only pushed both son-grandson away from her but affected Honey emotionally.
She could never forget the day when Honey came to know that her own biological mother threw him and his sister in the orphanage soon after birth like an unwanted thing. She even hides their existence from Wang Shi.
It caused fear and insecurity in the little one's heart to the extent he's always afraid she would take him from Wang Shi and dump him in that place again.
Had the kids received timely treatment, their little princess might be with them. Not to forget, the reason their hearts were underdeveloped was because of her drug addiction.
After that incident, Honey never returned to his grandparents' side and nor he left Wang Shi alone for a single day. It was his way of creating a protective bubble awhere no third person could invade.
Once bitten twice shy. Liu Jeilan was cautious of every woman just like Honey. After that day, she had not brought up the topic of marriage to Wang Shi.
"I won't answer your question." Wang Shi's words pulled her out of her thoughts. "Some things are best left unanswered and let time to answer them. One day! One day you will know about Suyin! My and Honey's Suyin! That day we will talk about her." saying he caressed her head, frowning when she felt warm. "Suyin you are feverish. Take medicine first."
Suyin kept herself away from the family discussion, but Wang Shi's words stunned her. His blind trust in her was abnormal. It seems as if he knows her inside out! As if she's Honey's actual mother and she herself doesn't know about it!

She pushed everything at the back of her mind and continued patting the little bun. Dare anyone try to rob her baby and she would run away with him!

After taking medicine she felt better, wanting to sleep hugging the soft bun. To add, Wang Shi even took her shoes off and adjusted the bed so she can sleep.
As she opened her mouth to remind him something he lifted the blanket and squeezed into the whatever space available. "I know Honey would look for me first when he wakes up. Rest assured, I'm by your side. Have to take care of both of you."
It was the perfect family of three where the baby was sleeping between mother and father as they both take care of him.
Her body stiffened when he gave a kiss on the forehead to both before tugging them. She didn't even dare to look at anyone's face. Was it necessary for such PDA? Ahh! Shameful! To worse, he gave a peck on her lips before asking Jianyu to dim the lights and picked the tablet to look at Honey's reports. Thankfully, they came normal.

Suyin's brows twisted in sleep at the soft feeling on her lips.
What was it?
Naah! They were not Wang Shi's kisses, but something softer.
A soft touch was soothing her chapped lips that made her slit open her eyes only to find her fairy awake, touching her lips with his small fingers. Probably they were bleeding as he blew twice.
In her stormy life where the wind howls, he was the gentle care. And she keeps on returning to this precious little one's side. Of course she's addicted to him.
"Fairy." the voice came as soft as always, catching his attention as he looked at her with half-closed eyes. Adorable.
Like a baby he rubbed his fist on eyes and then lied on her shoulder as if nothing happened, his hands dangled on the sides confusing her more.
Should she be worried? Or dance in happiness!
